The Sew’n Sensations shop opened on the 1st of September 2009 on the outskirts of Somerset Mall in the Western Cape. Above and beyond retailing some of the best machines in the world, we also specialise in machine related crafts and sewing projects like quilting, appliqué, embroidery, soft furnishings for the home and garment construction and pattern adaptation.

The Owner has always enjoyed such handwork and, together with her daughter, Erin (a qualified Fashion Designer), set up a Husqvarna Viking Dealership in the Helderberg region. Husqvarna VIKING is the oldest sewing machine brand in Europe. It was founded as a royal arms factory in 1689 and has been producing Husqvarna VIKING machines since 1872.

These machines are of a very high quality, designed and engineered in Sweden, and extremely user-friendly and trouble free (low maintenance).
